An extremely Rare and desirable card featuring the legendary Chicago Cubs Infielder who was part of the most famous double-play combination in the History of Baseball, Tinker to Evers to Chance. The regionally issued D304 collector cards were distributed as bread inserts in a relatively small area of the country thus making them a very legitimate rarity that today has come to the forefront of the hobby. The Brunners Bread cards never developed the following or interest level of some of its Pre-war counterparts, and therefore are far less encountered. The offered specimen is aesthetically superior to most you'll find, baring a very well focused Image, resulting in an Incredible likeness to the subject himself. The perfectly centered borders are consistently white all the way around, squaring off nicely at the corners which show only light wear. The upper right has a small break in the stock, which is likely the reason for its conservative grade assessment. Strong Excellent condition.
